  • About the film #wanderlust

a female-driven road trip comedy adventure

    wan·der·lust: /wändərˌləst/ noun

    a strong desire to travel

    The Story

Up-and-coming photographer and #vanlife blogger Alex Kotov is sponsored by Neo-Glamp — a hi-tech coffee brewing pod — to shoot their product in Hawaii. She reconnects with her recently married but always unfulfilled best friend Diana Hemingway who impulsively decides to join Alex on the trip. The girls depart San Francisco with the hope of having a picture book adventure and 'living their most authentic life.' But they are met with disappointment, when reality does not meet their expectations.

The girls must step outside of their comfort zone when they become stranded with no money, transport or means of communication. Hungry, lost, and broke the girls rely on their wits to pull themselves out of their unfortunate situation. Ultimately, Diana finds strength and courage in this uplifting adventure comedy about friendship, female empowerment, and finding your purpose.

It's a coming-of-age tale for the millennial generation told through a car-camping adventure in Hawaii.
